Welcome to my ageing website of cr@p! This is the home page and it's here that you'll find the main links to the major parts of this website. At the bottom of this page you'll also find a bit of general news as to what state everything is in which I'll endeavor to keep updated.

The present status!16th July '10Me: Making steady progress on the old hairdresser chariot for the first time in years despite extending the patio in the garden and removing an old tree.
Daily Smoker: 1994 BMW 525 TDS Tourer. Just passed it's mot and performing well. Might even get those odd little jobs sorted on it some time soon.
Escort Cabrio: Finally being worked on again. Currently sorting the cooling and induction systems. Then the ECU and Loom when a suitable donor car appears (2.0ltr Mondeo).
Cortina: Patiently awaiting it's turn. Needs some welding, clutch mechanism come adrift and now the fuel pump has packed up. Must try harder!
Project Bratwurst: The clocks ticking and it still doesn't go yet. Loosing the ignition key hasn't helped! Presently being used as an instructional aid for my dodgy welding.
Crusty Camper: Sold! Has now gone to a new home after 13 years of loyal service. Hopefully now getting the attention it needs.
In the pipeline!
Get the Escort finished, check it all works, then sell it..
If Project Bratwurst is still around, enter it into the PPC £999 challenge or a track day or something to have some fun, then sell as a bona-fide race car!
Get the Cortina back on the road and decide what to do with it.
I've also been finding it more and more difficult to quell the desire for an old vintage truck! I quite fancy a 50's Commer Q4 at the moment. Best not to ask why.
Daydream build ideas:
BMW M50 powered Triumph 2000: Either mk1 or 2 with the 2.5ltr 24 valve BMW straight six engine as presently fitted to 'Project: Bratwurst'. Preferably with LPG and a turbo!
-OR-
BMW M60 powered Reliant Scimitar SE5: Another BMW engine but this time the 4.0ltr V8.
Smiler.
