This van started out life as a 1.6ltr micro-bus and so had the extra strengthening internal structure and properly recessed windows. It was then later converted to a camper with elevating roof and when bought, had a self assembly interior fitted. The interior had since been gutted during my ownership and the roof removed and it's structure reconditioned. The bodywork had had numerous repairs carried out previously and the poorly fitting cheap repair panels hidden under a skim of filler to try to regain some of the original shape. This had been badly and half hartedly sanded down and painted over by brush with thick off white paint (about 3 different shades) that had left the brush strokes showing. I had since repainted it myself with Dulux garage door paint (blue) and Hammerite smooth finish (white) and wish I had sanded all those brush marks out of the previous attempt as my brush strokes didn't show! (brushed mine at right angles to previouse strokes).
